EJ10G ENDOLOOP Ligature 45cm made from Vicryl violet 18" 12  (polyglactin 910) Suture

The ENDOLOOP Ligature consists of a plastic tube that is narrowed at one end and scored at the other. An 18" suture is inserted into the tube, protrudes from the narrowed end, and is formed into a ligature loop with a knot that becomes secure after the device is activated. The opposite end of the suture is fastened to the scored end of the tube. The scored end acts as the handle and is marked with colored tape.

Procedure applications:

All types of soft tissue approximation, including use in pediatric cardiovascular tissue, where growth is expected to occur, and ophthalmic surgery. PDS II Suture is not indicated for adult cardiovascular tissue, microsurgery and neural tissue. These sutures are particularly useful where the combination of an absorbable suture and extended wound support (up to six weeks) is desirable.
