Indications: The Habib™ EndoHPB and PercutaneousHPB allow the ablation of tissue in the gastro-intestinal tract during endoscopic surgical procedures .

Operating: Habib™ EndoHPB and PercutaneousHPB probes are new endoscopic bipolar radiofrequency probes , developed for the treatment of malignant biliary strictures caused by a pancreatic adenocarcinoma or cholangiocarcinoma . These radiofrequency probes are used during an endoscopic procedure on tumors of the bile duct or the pancreatic head . They allow the partial destruction of the tumor before placement of a stent. By delaying the growth of the tumor, they allow to protect the effectiveness of the stent over a long period , they may also be used for clearance of obstructed metal stent .
